Hey Ian, what an inspiration you are!! My husband and I also wish we could take a year or two off and travel, see the world, have some phenomenal experiences, LIVE!!!!!

Just wanted to say that I applaud your decision to change your life, it looks like you have decide to live happy- many people don't do that when life gets tough.
I've started over a few times (moved to another country alone, divorced) and now am looking at doing it all over again.
Bravo! I hope your new life starts out well and you hold onto your goals with enough slack to allow them to change as you do!

Awesome. I wish I could do that. My husband is a cheating a** for 8 yrs (been together 8 yrs) and I only just found out. Not sure why he married me! Used to tell me he was visiting his elderly parents. Now I know why he never wanted kids!! I'd love to sell the house, car and everything including my phD if I could. Just start over!! Good luck.
